Activity Matters – Even with Dementia

People with dementia benefit greatly from increased activity.  Sadly, most caregivers and care facilities underestimate the ability of people with dementia to engage in recreational activities.  Those with dementia see themselves as much more capable than those caring for them.  Imagine what would happen if we started to give those with dementia a greater role in their own care and offered true interactive opportunities to keep them moving and engaged?
