Movement Predicts Longevity

The old catch phrase, “Use it or Lose It” takes on new meaning in a very big way.  Studies have shown that how you get up from the floor can predict your longevity.  Those who can get up and down from the floor with ease are much less likely to die than those who require support.  Check it out:

It goes to show that mindful movement, increased flexibility and all that the Feldenkrais Method has to offer are far more potent than simply feeling good!
